nikitiume | Trying Newish Art Things and Super Moon

I decided to start experimenting with acrylic painting again because I feel like it's something I should learn if I want an art teaching job. And it's fun to try art medias I don't do very often too. ^_^

I like the idea of working at places were people can hang out and learn how to paint in a more relaxed setting. But I'm going to keep an open mind on other types of art related jobs.

I was sitting in a cafe trying to paint a sky and I discovered that the some of the bristles on my brush were falling into the paint. Oops! Lol! XD I wasn't too stressed about it because I was just wanting to focus on learning how to use acrylics instead of making a fine art painting that would be sold. So, when I left the cafe, I went to an art supply store and got a set of nicer brushes and a color pallet.

I was able to see the super moon today and it was really big and bright! It was kind of cloudy tonight, but the clouds would move occasionally, so I would take photos of my moon. I'm a bit obsessed with the moon a lot lately, so I'm thinking about doing some moon themed paintings based off of the photos I took. =)
