I Feel Like An Old N00b

This morning, my  Mom came back from Publix and gave this thing called cosmic shell and told me that they were giving those to customers.  

 I unwrapped it and it reminded me of the bottle cap things that were popular. I think it might be a puzzle or something. IDK. I think I,m getting old. Lol.

 

Can some young person explain it to me? ^_^;
