What To Do, What To Do. . .
Aug. 11th, 2018 08:18 pmI'm discovered that when I try to edit videos on IMovie, it yells for not having enough space. Booo! DX So I'm going to make a better habit of saving my videos on my external hard drive. External hard drives are your friends.

I decided to do something brave and start working with watercolors. It's something I haven't worked with since I was taking a watercolor class in college. It was a fun art experience and it helped me learn how to work with painting sceneries. I just always worry about the mess, like my cats deciding to randomly jump on my painting. So far, I haven't ran into that problem. XD
And yes, I love the My Little Pony. It was part of my childhood and I fell in love with Laura Faust's take on the series. I had a a blog where I would draw a pony a week, but then I took a break from it so I could focus on improving things my human anatomy. I would love to go back to blog, but I'm debating on just doing a pony a month instead. I feel bad doing monthly instead of weekly, but I feel like it would give me more time to make ponies that are extra special.
I've worked on digital art for a while, but lately, I've been wanting to work with traditional media. Despite not being able to hit control Z, I find working on the media very relaxing to work. Especially water color. Maybe it's because I'm not looking at social media sites as much and it causes my mind to focus on the art 100%. I still want to continue digital paintings, I just need to start making a habit of keeping away from social media when I work on digital art as well. I also feel like it's easier to jot ideas down when I work with a sketchbook traditionally for some reason. So, I'm going to make a better habit to spend a lot of time on the sketchbook.
