Especially when it comes to job related decisions. Story Time! I recently got a call from someone who worked at a computer tech school saying that they found my resume through a job fair I went to last year. I was intrigued and thought it was going to be someone who wanted to hire me for something. I played the recording for my Boy Friend, my sister and my parents and they encouraged me to investigate further.

A couple days later of me and this guy trying to contact each other and leaving voice mails, I finally talk to him in the morning. To my surprised I found out that they were recruiting people to become students for the school. I set up an appointment. When I hung up, I was feeling disappointed, but felt like I had to set up an appointment anyway. I blame the fact that I'm an enneagram type 2 personality. My greatest weakness is struggling with saying no to things. Lol!

I talked to my sister, an artist friend, and my Boy Friend. They were all iffy about this meeting and after talking to them, I decided to cancel it. It felt freeing saying no to it because I was realizing that I was already not interested and planned on not signing up for anything. My sister had the best advice and it's that I need to figure out what I'm good at and stay focus on it. Which is what I'm going to do, I'm open to getting a bachelors in arts and do teaching or something art related.

I'll just need to poke around online and find out what my options are and pick the direction I know what's right for me. :)

Good night!

Work decisions are always tough because so much is riding on it.

A good starting point for job research is the Occupational Outlook Handbook. It can give you a rough idea of what kind of training is required for a job, median income etc. and usually has related jobs mentioned to so you might find something you hadn't even thought of before that ties into your interests!
